Father's Clock

The latest addition to my ONE Project:  Father's Clock

My good friend John Stanley is pictured with his father's clock.

Here is the story John shared about the clock:

Dad was not one to have a lot of prize possessions. He bought this clock from a clock shop after the owner never picked it up after repair. He didn’t know it was so old until years later when he found out it was over 100 years old. That was about 30 years ago.

During my growing up years I remember him winding it each week and taking care to ensure it ran well.

When he passed it was the one thing I wanted of his because he loved it so much. It’s been on our mantle since he passed in 2012.
