Tony's Jersey

THE JERSEY

Today's ONE Project offering is a bit of a departure from the rest.  While most of the others have been very formal portraits, we kind of went a different direction with this guy.  We had a solid, formal portrait done- but when we came up with this variation, I knew I had to make an exception to my rule.  It was just too good.

Read on and find out the story behind Tony's jersey in his own words:

I am not much on material possessions so when I heard about Larry's The One Project I had to give it some thought.

I chose my #16 TCU football jersey. I've been a fan of the Horned Frogs forever and Jeff Ballard was one of my all time favorite players. He was a Quarterback with a starting record of 19-2. He was pretty far down the depth chart back in the days before the transfer portal but graduations and injuries gave him the opportunity to play and he did well.

What is especially sentimental about this jersey is that it's the last Christmas present my mother gave me before cancer took her.

Thank you Larry for letting me tell this story.
