Creative Weekend

I just spent the past two days at a photography workshop with California photographer Joyce Wilson.  Joyce really takes photography to the next level!  It was a very inspiring weekend and I can’t wait to put a few of the ideas into practice.  It is so great to be in a profession where going to a “work” seminar is actually fun.

I was going through some old files and came across this shot I took in San Antonio back in January.

I was out on the balcony of the hotel – and very upset that I wasn’t able to get any good pictures of this beautiful town, since it was pouring down rain every day.  I looked across the canal and saw this building glowing in the rain.  I captured a few images, then worked on the image to make it even more surreal looking.
