A Day at the Arboretum

For the past five years or so, I have been teaching a digital photography course at the Dallas Arboretum.   We usually offer the class in the fall, but decided to add a February class this year.

Even with the cold weather this morning, we still had a bunch of people come out for a morning of education and walking around the gardens.   We covered all the basics of photography and how they relate in the new digital world.   It is always so fun to be around people who are just starting the photographic journey, because it is easy to forget just how tough the plunge into digital can be.  We had a great time and I think everyone left with a few pieces of useful information.  We will likely have the class again in the fall – hope to see you there!
